. She decided to trade back my father for her maiden name after a tiresome marriage of some twenty years.
La Boucoule
100 ha. peace & space in the Haute-Provençe
La Boucoule is an old Provençal farm in the south of the Drôme. An aunt, Nora Roman, lives there together with Ewald Zimmermann, her two kids and some donkeys, dogs, cats, chickens and horses. The farm is located northern of the mont Ventoux.
I’ve spend quite some time there to help with eating, repairing, building and maintaining things.

I am the grand niece of Jessie Beatrice Duijm who was married to Tjeerd Duijm your grandfather’s brother. Your grandfather is Matthijs correct? I have sent him email messages to let him know that Tante Tita (Jessie Beatrice Duijm), passed away last Saturday (16/6/2012) aged 102years and 7 months. I did not hear back from your grandfather so, I am wondering if he is OK and whether he got my email. I have sent him a few emails in the past but of late he has not responded. At least, I heard as much from one of my mother’s sisters (Klaartje Duijm), who posted a beautiful picture of you and aunt Tita (with Birthday cake) on Facebook.
