Thanks for your tip! Now I can get used to sane windows-switching behaviour again. (After a year, I&#039;m so used to typing an extra TAB that I often end up in the wrong field when I&#039;m on someone else&#039;s desktop.)

Following the advice in your link, I added the following to my &lt;tt&gt;.Xmodmap&lt;/tt&gt; and now it&#039;s working great! Thanks man! Your reply alone makes me glad that I posted this story. :-D
